Hi! It doesn't have to be such a solid answer. For example, 1/2 my weight in oz would be me drinking 65oz per day. That's pretty much 1/2 of a gallon. I've been carrying around a 2.2 liter water bottle with me this summer which also is about a 1/2 gallon. I for sure get through ONE of the 2.2 liter bottles...but I feel amazing if I get through 2 of them (which would be a tad over a gallon). If I have a lot of running around/kids/errands that day, there's no way I'll be able to stop and pee that much so I stick to the main goal of getting in the 2.2 liter bottle (1/2 gallon / 1/2 my weight in oz). Anything extra that day I'm stoked about. So, minimum I recommend is that 1/2 gallon...if you can do more, you'll feel great! But if you can't, leave it at your minimum goal and be happy :)
