Hi! Great question. I would reverse diet up to your maintenance...and then if all is going well...keep going to continue reversing up to building muscle! Depending on how long you need to reverse diet, you'll be able to feel and see your body adapting to the reverse and will be able to get a good read on whether you're ready to push through maintenance calories. You'll be building muscle that entire time since you'll be fueling more (don't forget to lift with intensity!) and as long as you reverse slowly and trust the process, you will reach your fat loss goals, too.
