Dumb question…what is a “straight set?”

Definitely not a dumb question! A straight set is a number of reps performed in a set followed by a rest period, then repeated for one or more sets. Once all sets of an exercise are complete, you move on to the next exercise. For example, 'Shoulder Press 5 sets of 5 reps, straight set' would be 5 reps of shoulder press, rest, set 2 of 5 reps, rest, etc until you finish all 5 sets. Then move on to the next exercise.
